About this wiki
The Universal Panpsychism Wiki is a public reference that explains Universal Panpsychism in plain language. It covers the framework's core ideas, the philosophy it builds on, the research and testimony it draws on, and the main objections to it.
Who maintains it
The wiki is published by The Source of Aletheia International Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the organization that stewards the framework. Its primary text is The Bridge.
Because the wiki is written by the organization it describes, it follows published editorial standards intended to keep it fair. Every section is labeled by how well supported it is, and criticism has its own category.
How it is edited
Only administrators appointed by the Institute can change articles. Readers do not need an account, and nothing a reader does on this site is recorded against their name. Every change to an article is saved in a history that administrators can review and reverse.
How to read it
Each article and section carries one of four labels.
- Established scholarship. Mainstream academic philosophy or history, sourced to published work.
- Research finding. Reported in documented studies. The interpretation may be disputed.
- Framework claim. A position specific to Universal Panpsychism, presented as a view and not as settled fact.
- Open question. Unresolved or actively contested, including objections to the framework.
Numbers in square brackets point to the references at the end of each article.
Independence of sources
The researchers, authors, and organizations cited on this wiki are independent of the Institute. Being cited here does not mean that a person or organization has reviewed, approved, or endorsed Universal Panpsychism. This applies in particular to IANDS, the International Association for Near-Death Studies.
Corrections
If you find an error of fact, a broken reference, or a passage that describes someone's work unfairly, we want to know. Please include the title of the article, the sentence concerned, and a source for the correction if you have one.
